The decision permits the UK based company to install three wind turbines with a tip height of up to 100 meters on the site after discharge of planning conditions.

Commissioning of the the wind farm is anticipated in the first quarter of 2013.

REG CEO Andrew Whalley said this is the fourth consented project the company has achieved in the last seven months.

"We now have 24MW of consented wind capacity awaiting construction, building on the 41.15MW already operational," Whalley said.
