US company Global Thermoelectric has been successful in testing a fuel cell manufactured using volume-oriented production methods, it claims. The company is working on a 30 kWe compact generating system especially suited for remote applications. The units will burn natural gas. A prototype is expected to be ready for demonstration early next year.
