Photon Energy has signed an agreement to build 1MW solar photovoltaic (PV) installation in Ellrich, Germany.
The plot for construction is located within the precincts of the town, enabling its dwellers to use the electricity produced from the sun in their everyday lives.
Ellrich mayor Matthias Ehrhold said a solar PV park puts the brownfield of the former landfill area to a great use.
Photon Energy Country head for Germany Peter Romanowski said the solar power project is a definite step forward in the company’s strategy to become a recognized player on the German PV market.
