Petrobras informs the exploration superintendence had already approved the assessment plans (AP) Petrobras proposed for blocks BM-S-8, BM-S-9, BM-S-10, BM-S-11, and BM-S-21.
It was based on these decisions that Petrobras made its strategic planning.
Petrobras’ strategic planning also considered the completion of all commitments it took on with the NPA within the previously defined terms.
Petrobras also clarifies that considering the approvals that have already granted and the facts known thus far, the company believes there is no risk of having to return the areas, that it will fulfill the obligations it took on, and that there will be no impact on its strategic planning.
