The company said that the plant is currently operating at 27% power and is expected to reach full power in the next several days.
During the outage, 60 of the 157 fuel assemblies were exchanged and safety inspections were successfully conducted.
In addition, numerous maintenance and improvement projects were completed to ensure continued safe and reliable operations.
Beaver Valley Unit 2 had operated safely and reliably for 465 consecutive days and generated more than 10 million MWh of carbon-free electricity since the completion of its last refueling in November 2009.
