NovaCharge, LLC (NovaCharge) has signed a sales distribution and installation agreement with Solar Source to deploy ChargePoint Network from Coulomb Technologies, Inc. (Coulomb Technologies) to customers throughout the southeastern US. By offering a flexible networked electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, Solar Source can deliver yet another synergistic part of the renewable energy puzzle, and can enable customers to realize a carbon-neutral energy and transportation solution.

Renewable energy and EVs are quickly becoming two key facets of America’s efforts to drive better economics and address environmental concerns, all while helping to lower the Carbon Footprint for individuals and businesses. Solar power combined with reliable electric transportation can enable a carbon-neutral transportation system. For EV’s to become mainstream, they must be as easy to use and to fuel as their gasoline counterparts. This means that electric vehicle charging stations must be conveniently available to EV owners wherever they work and play, and this infrastructure must be ready to charge before the cars are introduced. To make the deployment of EV charging infrastructure a reality, NovaCharge continues to recruit key sales and installation partners who understand the needs of business and residential customers, and who can deliver the expertise to deploy this electric infrastructure today.

“For over 25 years Solar Source has been a pioneer in the renewable energy market, as evidenced by their vast experience in renewable solar deployments.” said Helda Rodriguez, president, NovaCharge. “Our focus at NovaCharge is to partner with companies who have the proven experience, passion, and focus on customer quality that will enable high volume EV infrastructure deployments. We are very pleased to include Solar Source as a part of our growing partner network.”

With over 20,000 solar thermal systems installed, and a team of photovoltaic experts, Solar Source has the experience and technical know-how to design, engineer, and install complex solar/electric systems of unlimited size to meet their customer’s needs.

“Together, Solar Energy and EV Charging technologies enable the economic and environmental benefits today which will transform the American economy in the 21st Century.” said Wayne Wallace, president Solar Source. “Our new partnership with NovaCharge will enable Solar Source to offer the innovative ChargePoint™ Networked Charging solution, enabling customers to implement a true carbon-neutral transportation environment.”
