The company, which announced the sale in July 2012, said proceeds from the transaction were about $309m and included adjustments from the effective date of 1 April.

The properties divested include about 250 producing wells on approximately 11,000 net acres licensed by Noble Energy.

Net daily production at the wells stands at about 1,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day, of which, over 90% constitutes crude oil and natural gas liquids.

Noble Energy involves in oil and gas exploration and production with core operations onshore in the US, primarily in the DJ Basin and Marcellus Shale.
