NJCEP, a state-wide program administered by the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (NJBPU) has designed the Pay for Performance program to provide incentives to commercial and industrial customers who upgrade their facilities through investments in energy efficiency.

As a partner IBA will be part of a network that will provide technical services under direct contract to the participants of Pay for Performance Program that takes a whole-building approach to energy efficiency and comprises of existing buildings component and a new construction component.

The scope of work for IBA will include development of an Energy Reduction Plan (ERP) for each project with a whole-building technical analysis via a traditional energy audit, a financial plan for funding any recommended energy efficient measures, and a construction schedule for installation.

IBA Energy Building Sciences vice president and director John Hannum said that IBA is very pleased to have been selected as a Pay for Performance Program Partner to help advance energy efficiency within existing commercial and industrial facilities throughout New Jersey.

“We share the New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program commitment to energy efficiency and we are eager to help participants of this innovative program both assess energy usage and develop a plan for the future,” Hannum said.
