The project aims to complete the UK based National Grid’s overhead line construction programme over the next five years.
In the first year, the JV will work on the design and development of the programme for the five year period.
Furthermore, the first year will also include a project to replace the quad aluminium conductor steel reinforced fittings on a 400kV overhead line.
The partnership’s will also work on a variety of projects to refurbish and construct 400kV overhead lines and towers across England and Wales.
