ZBA has placed some conditions during approval such as avoiding wood deliveries on Sundays, and restricting deliveries to between 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays and between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays and holidays. The outdoor wood chipping is restricted to weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. As per the condition, only clean, untreated wood need to be burned.

The opponents of the biomass power plant were on hand at the meeting, but were not allowed to speak. The board officials said that the public hearing for this project ended on June 25, 2009.

The opponents have said that the plant will diminish the forest area, pollute the air, and will be a burden to residential neighbors because of truck traffic and noise.
