Lumenergi has partnered with MEG Control Products and Day Automation on the Advanced Lighting Control Project that has secured a rebate through National Grid’s Large Commercial Custom Lighting Program, which provides financial incentives and rebates for commercial energy efficiency retrofits.

Lumenergi will control the lighting fixtures at the BNY Mellon Oriskany location through its Lighting Management Control System and the Lumenergi software and application server to drive energy efficiency at the facility.

Advanced control strategies include time of use scheduling, occupancy sensing, task tuning and daylight harvesting, and demand response and automatic load shedding system available to tie the building into the smart grid.

The project is expected to enable BNY Mellon, which is committed to implementing energy efficiency retrofits across their Northeast locations, to decrease its energy use by at least 50% percent, while increasing occupant comfort and worker productivity.

Lumenergi CEO, Michael D’Amour said that Lumenergi is pleased to add BNY Mellon to its growing roster of commercial customers in the Northeast that are embracing intelligent lighting control at an accelerated pace to achieve maximum energy savings.
