Preliminary site work has been completed at the Longtan hydro power station on the Hongshui river in south China’s Tiane County. The preparatory construction completed includes building two highways with a combined length of 95km, water and power supply works inside the construction site, as well as facilities to store construction materials.
Other work yet to be completed includes the relocation of residents from the reservoir area and acquiring land.
