In the beginning of 2012 the minority shareholders of IDP Consult Inc repurchased their shares back from Finnish Pöyry Inc. These shares, plus newly subscribed shares, have now been sold to the lahmeyer Holding GmbH.
IDP Consult is a Philippine-based management consultancy firm with proficiencies in the fields of water supply and sanitation, energy and infrastructure, environmental and urban development, as well as municipal finance and financial management, institutional capacity building and governance. Following the acquisition, the company will operate under the name Lahmeyer IDP Consult and will co-ordinate its services closely with Lahmeyer International. Current president Evelyn Orda will continue to manage the business.
