The facility, which is situated in Ferrassieres near Avignon, consists of two separate photovoltaic power plants, which have a total nominal capacity of 3MW.
Co-developed on the investment side with another Irish investment group, the power plants have been developed and built by Solon Investments.
Nearly 14,500 Solon Blue 230 polycrystalline solar modules have been used in the construction of the facility.
The two plants represent the first stage of an overall acquisition plan by International Energy Investments Group to invest approximately EUR140m in European solar power plants over the next nine months.
