LEA will begin shipping the products in late first quarter. Both NetPlug200+ devices use the power lines already installed in homes as a path to transmit digital data, voice and audio & video between devices. Plug-and-Play capability ensures that the NetPlug200+ acts just like a physical network cable between domestic power sockets without any configuration. NetPlug200+ is designed to support full multimedia home networking, IPTV and triple-play applications via high transfer rates and true Quality of Service (QoS). NetPlug 200+ benefits include easy pairing button to add a new NetPlug200+ adapter; multicolor LEDs which indicate the PLC bit rate; a diagnostic mode to automatically evaluate the PLC network throughput capacity over the user’s home wiring.
