The facility is expected to have state of the art equipment, including a fully automated bay gantry to load 24 tanker trucks simultaneously. The tankage capacity will be 40,000 kilo liters of petrol, 60,000 kilo liters of diesel and 20,000 kilo liters each of kerosene and ATF.
HPCL plans to lay a pipeline from the Ennore port and Chennai Petroleum Corporation to the new terminal. There will also be siding for loading and unloading products.
