The Karadag project, comprising four turbines of 2.5MW each, has been developed through their joint venture, GAMA Enerji.
GAMA Enerji already operates the 9 x 2.5MW Sares wind farm in the country.

GE Energy Financial Services managing director of Europe Andrew Marsden said that the partnership with GAMA furthers its commitment of building and investing in the global renewable energy sector.

"Additionally, we are proud to support our ecomagination program by assisting Turkey’s efforts to diversify its energy sector," added Marsden.

The two projects are expected to power about 59,000 average Turkish homes and avoid 80,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions a year.
