Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa has entered into an agreement to sell its Piecki wind farm in northeast Poland to RWE Innogy and HSE Regenerativ.

The wind farm, which has an installed capacity of 32MW, is equipped with 16 units of Gamesa G90-2.0MW turbine.

The wind farm development and sales division of Gamesa has built and developed the Piecki power project.

According to Gamesa, electricity produced from this project is enough to meet the equivalent demand of over 30,000 residential households per year and to avoid 60,000 tons of CO2.

Gamesa’s wind farm division has a portfolio of wind energy projects with a total capacity of 706MW at varying stages of development in Poland.
