Under the contract, Fluor will be responsible for site services, facility maintenance, strategic and station projects, engineering services and outage services at the Diablo Canyon facility.
Fluor Power business president Matthew McSorley said: "The Fluor team is pleased to have been selected by PG&E to serve as its integrated service supplier at Diablo Canyon.

PG&E senior vice president and chief nuclear officer Ed Halpin said: "Fluor’s focus on innovation, ownership and leadership aligns well with our team’s mission at Diablo Canyon."
As part of an operations and maintenance contract, Fluor has been providing mechanical, electrical and civil support during non-outage and outage periods at Diablo Canyon power plant, since 2010.
