Enviro Voraxial Technology (EVTN) has received a purchase order for multiple Voraxial separators for an offshore produced water application in South America.

The company said that this sale extends the use of the Voraxial to both its onshore and offshore facilities for the critical process of separating oil and sand from its produced water.

The Voraxial Separators will be used on the customers FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading).

This follow-on sale is the first since the initial order from the parent company two months ago.

For this purchase order, the Voraxial separators are assembled into a compact automated system consisting of a Voraxial 4000 and a Voraxial 2000 separator, turbidity meters, flow meters and oil in water analyzers.

The compactness of the Voraxial allows for complete turnkey systems to be supplied to reduce cost and increase separation efficiencies.

The system is designed to remove both oil and sand from the produced water at rates of up to 15,000 barrels per day so that the customer can meet the required specifications to discharge the water.
