Energy Smart Industry (ESI), a provider of LED retrofit services across the US, has introduced LED lighting retrofit for the hospital industry, driving energy efficiency and reduced electricity bills across the hospitals.

The energy efficient LED bulbs have life expectancy of about 75,000 hours, do not emit pollutants like lead and carbon and do not heat up the room like incandescent bulbs or the CFL bulbs, thereby enabling the hospitals to use the air conditioner at lower level to drive greater energy savings.

ESI has launched a LED retrofit program with flexible payment options to provide customized lighting products to help hospitals reduce energy consumption and save on electricity bills.

Under the new lighting program, engineers from ESI will visit the site that is to be retrofitted and then offer customized LED retrofitting according to the requirements of the particular industry at zero out-of-pocket expenses.

The company will not ask for any installation charges and the customers can make the repayment through the savings that they make on the electricity bills by using these long lasting energy efficient LED bulbs.

ESI CEO David Houri said that so far ESI was mainly dealing with offices and residential building, but now it is expanding and has introduced improved LED retrofit for hospital lighting that can be used in operation theaters, general wards and at other places in hospitals to save on energy bills.
