The team led by the Taiwan Business Council for sustainable development will conduct onsite inspections and evaluations at local companies, and offer feasible energy-saving advice to boost environmental protection.

The team plans to deliver free, onsite energy diagnoses to help organizations establish and introduce energy-saving measures in business and production processes, thereby reducing carbon emissions and helping to alleviate global warming.

The patrol team currently comprising 19 professionally trained members including representatives from Chunghwa Telecom, AverMedia, Hotai Development, and Pioneer Material Precision Tech will conduct 15-20 patrols at different businesses and organizations per year.

Epson Taiwan president Sure Lee said that the employment of effective energy-saving and environmental protection measures to fulfill corporate social responsibilities without disrupting business operations has become a significant challenge to corporations today.
