Since its entry into the Czech Republic’s biogas plant market in 2006, the company’s subisidiary EnviTec Biogas Central Europe has implemented 23 biogas plants with an energy output of 16.5Mw in the country.
The plants were successfully put into operation in December 2013.
EnviTec Biogas management board sales in-charge Roel Slotman said that the company is continuing its technological and economical commitment in the Eastern European market.
"Since 2005, the state has been supporting green energy with the construction of biogas plants,
"However, the defined climate objectives for 2013 were attained and the government thus reduced their subsidies for renewable energy to zero," Slotman added.
