Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) has invited expressions of interest for consultancy services on a new hydropower project.

EEP is implementing a number of hydropower projects as part of the second Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP II). In connection with this, EEP issued the notice of EOI for Consultancy Service of EPC Contract Management for eligible, reputable and qualified consulting firms to undertake one of these projects.

Services under this project include providing overall and complete consultancy services in the EPC contract administration during design, construction, test and commissioning and defects liability periods of the project in conformity with internationally accepted standards and procedures as well as the-state-of-the-art technology in the hydropower construction sector.

Main features of the project include diversion tunnels, a rockfill dam with a cay core and a CFRD dam, spillways, power intake structures, headrace tunnels, shafts, underground powerhouses, tailrace tunnels, switchyards and transmission lines.

Qualified consulting firms can obtain the Prequalification Document for a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500.00 from the Procurement, Logistics and Warehouse office in person via email:
