Dominion, a provider of electricity, natural gas and related services, has signed a deal with PPG Industries on an option to purchase land at PPG's Natrium site in West Virginia for the construction of a natural gas processing and fractionation facility.

The company said it plans to process natural gas and separate natural gas liquids at the 56-acre site as part of its Marcellus 404 Project.

The facility is designed to phase in service for processing up to 300,000mcf/d of natural gas, while fractionation capacity for up to 38,000 barrels per day of natural gas liquids will be available.

The Natrium site is close to Dominion’s TL-404 pipeline, an existing transmission line in Ohio and West Virginia that the company plans to convert into a wet gas service line.
