The new facility will serve the Permian basin as part of the company’s expansion program, which includes the Sand Hills pipeline that transports NGLs from the basin to fractionation facilities along the Texas Gulf Coast and market hub in Mont Belvieu.

DCP plans to connect its Goldsmith/Fullerton system with the Triad system for increased reliability and flexibility in the region.

The company now owns and operates 18 processing plants in the basin with a capacity of more than 1.3 billion cubic feet per day, and produces about 120,000 barrels per day of NGLs.

DCP Midstream Permian business unit president Greg Smith said, "We are pleased to provide Permian Basin producers highly efficient processing and transportation solutions. We are responding to our customers’ needs with new processing capacity and increased reliability."
