CSC Environmental Solutions has been awarded a contract from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to continue providing comprehensive mission support services for the Water Security Division (WSD) within its Office of Water.

Under the contract, CSC will continue to provide comprehensive scientific, engineering, emergency management, risk assessment, training and regulation development support to WSD.

The contract has an eight-month base period and four 12-month options and an estimated total value of $100m.

CSC services will allow WSD to secure the nation’s water infrastructure, including addressing the climate change risks to drinking water and wastewater infrastructure.

CSC North American Public Sector president James Sheaffer said that the company worked diligently with the EPA’s Water Security Division for seven years to ensure the nation’s water resources are protected from all threats, both intentional attacks and natural hazards.
