Mr Haefner will join Atmos Energy as a senior vice president on June 2, 2008 from Perform for Life, where he has been founder and president. He formed his own consulting firm in 2007 after serving for 10 years as senior vice president of human resources at Sabre Holdings, the parent company of Sabre Airline Solutions, Sabre Travel Network and Travelocity. He also held leadership positions within Sabre from 1991 to 1997 while it was a division of AMR, the parent of American Airlines.
Mr Haefner will become a member of the company’s management committee and will report to Robert Best, chairman, president and CEO of Atmos Energy.
