The company will deliver the substations and power lines in the states of Puebla, Veracruz and Oaxaca, in partnership with Sademex, Ingenieria y Construccion.

Once completed, the length of the 11 power lines will total 183km and the energy capacity of the three states will increase by 1,000 MVA, Alstom said.

Under the contract, Alstom Grid will be responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of the seven 4oo kV/115 kV substations, along with circuit breakers, disconnectors and power transformers.

This contract will be shared between Alstom Grid and Sademex, with Alstom’s share being worth EUR31m.
