The wind power project consists of 16 Gamesa G90 turbines each with a 2MW capacity.
Energy produced at this facility in Indre department, France will be bought by Électricité de France under a 15-year contract.
Borolex president and CEO Patrick Lemaire said, "This acquisition also allows us to leverage the stockholders’ equity that our partner Cube is committed to invest by the end of 2012. We are confident to complete the acquisition and its financing as soon as possible."
The deal is subject to financing and standard closing conditions.
The project is expected to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2013.
