British Gas Business has agreed a two-year contract for the supply of gas to one of the UK’s leading minerals companies.

The Sibelco Group operates 190 production sites in more than 30 countries with a team of over 10,000 people.
A total of eight UK supply points will be covered by the deal, with Schneider Electric acting as the energy consultant.
Andrew Maitland, Corporate Business Manager for British Gas Business, said: “We’re excited to have secured the contract with Sibelco paving the way for a successful energy partnership. As a heavy energy user, we will work with them to review consumption on site and find ways to reduce demand helping them become cleaner, greener and more efficient.”
British Gas supplies gas and electricity to more businesses than any other UK energy supplier, with almost 650,000 customer accounts.
Sibelco plants operate to minimise energy consumption, including renewable energy sources.
