Troy Resources Limited (ASX: TRY) (Troy or the Company) is pleased to advise that approval for the development of the Smarts Underground Mine has now been received from the Guyana Geology & Mines Commission (GGMC).

The approval is subject to the ongoing submission and review of all plans and reports for each phase of mine development.

Troy is currently in the process of producing various reports including:

  • A geotechnical report to support the underground development up to the first phase (initial 800m drive)
  • A Pre-Feasibility Study for ore reserve declaration
  • Capex requirements for the underground development
  • Proposed schedules for mine development

This information is to be provided to GGMC at the earliest opportunity.
