The project aims to target expected oil rich areas and focuses three injection wells near two producing wells.
The company plans to inject high pressure saltwater near the production wells to wash oil to the surface.
Xtreme will implement the water-flooding methodology across 1,200 acres over the next five years in a bid to exploit the 4,500,000 barrels of recoverable oil.
Production is expected to commence once it receives the final injection approval from the Railroad Commission of Texas.
Xtreme has over 15,000,000 barrels of recoverable oil on over 10,000 acres in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, following the latest acquisitions.
