Natel Engineering has developed the solar power roof mount system to generate around 167,027kWh of electric power annually with the help of 420 of 240W Sharp high efficiency solar panels.
Xnergy CEO Jason Davis said this was one of the many distributed generation projects the company have in the development pipeline.
"We firmly believe that commercial and industrial clients will benefit from both alternative energy and energy efficiency retrofits," addedd Davis.
In addition to annual electricity savings for Natel Engineering that manufacturers electronics used in aerospace, defense and medical industries, the solar PV system aids in reducing the facilities’ carbon footprint by 3600t of CO2.
The solar powered roof mounted system should be completed by July 2012.
