Woodside Petroleum has reported a net profit after tax of A$1.01 billion for the first half of 2008, a 67% increase compared to A$610 million for the same period of 2007.
The company reported underlying net profit of A$1 billion for the first half of 2008, an 86% increase compared to A$545 million in the same period of 2007.
Revenue was A$2.6 billion for the first half of 2008, a 45% increase compared to A$1.8 billion in the same period of 2007.
