According to the company, FirstEnergy’s (FENOC) nuclear fleet includes the Beaver Valley nuclear power station in Shippingport, Pennsylvania; the Davis-Besse power station in Oak Harbor, Ohio; and the Perry nuclear power plant in Perry, Ohio.

Under terms of the agreement, Westinghouse’s services will range from component replacement and engineering services to outage support and spare parts supply.

The agreement, tailored to meet FENOC needs, will enable FENOC and Westinghouse to work together to for safety, plant reliability and efficiency.
Nick Liparulo, senior vice president of Westinghouse Nuclear Services, said: “This agreement provides a mechanism to help FENOC meet their performance goals through collaboration.

Additionally, we will work with FENOC to develop project-specific metrics that are tailored to meet the needs of each of their plant sites.”
