According to We Energies, the $300 million Blue Sky Green Field project consists of 88 Vestas turbines spread across 10,600 acres. Each turbine is capable of producing 1.65MW of electricity.
Rick Kuester, executive vice president, said: Blue Sky Green Field is one of several targeted efforts we are undertaking to generate more energy from renewable resources.
