The order was obtained from wind project developer Aspiravi NV and Limburg win(d)t.

The contract comprises supply of three V112-3.0 MW and nine V90-2.0MW turbines along with installation and commissioning of the turbines and a 15-year full-scope service agreement.

Commenting on the contract, Aspiravi NV and Limburg win(d)t director Rik Van de Walle stated that the company currently operating 50 Vestas wind turbines in Belgium and abroad and in these projects Vestas has demonstrated to be a partner more than purely a
contractor. "The fact that in 2012 we had already selected the Vestas V112 for the Northwind 216 MW offshore wind power plant proves that we believe in this wind turbine," added Walle.

Vestas Central Europe sales senior vice president Hans Vestergaard said: "Further developing our long-term partnership with Aspiravi NV and Limburg win(d)t, one of the key players in the wind energy sector in Belgium, is part of our continuous efforts to meet our
customers’ needs with efficient wind energy solutions."

With this agreement, Vestas has launched its V112-3.0MW turbine in the Belgian onshore market.
