Under this project, VA Tech Wabag will provide raw water pre-treatment, demineralisation plant, circulating water system, cooling water chemical dosing system, cooling water treatment system, effluent treatment system and condensate polishing unit (CPU) for both locations.
In addition, the project that is expected to be implemented in the next 30 months will include the installation of a recycling system for Rayalaseem Thermal Power Project location.
VA Tech Wabag managing director Rajiv Mittal said that the continuous flow of water treatment orders and the orders on hand show good visibility for the company.
"This also re-establishes the fact that Wabag enjoys leadership position in total water management, capable of handling complete water systems in a power plant," Mittal said.
