New England-based Talmage Solar Engineering constructed the project using Tigo Energy’s Module Maximizer technology that optimizes the renewable energy fed directly into the local grid.

Upsolar America managing director Troy Dalbey said that the collaboration with Tigo Energy shows the company’s commitment to bring technological innovation to the US solar market aiding its expansion.

"We look forward to demonstrating the performance-enhancing capabilities of our smart module solution with this system, as well as upcoming projects across the country," added Dalbey.

The Sharon project, expected to be commissioned on 11 August 2012, is composed of 9,562 Upsolar’s UP-M230 polycrystalline modules.
