The deployment, which would be completed by 2014, leverages the firm’s Communications Platform and multi-tier SecureMesh solution to deliver advanced utility services to the town of Victoria in Texas.
Victoria Electric Cooperative general manager Blaine Warzecha said, "We believe that Trilliant’s multi-tiered SecureMesh technology will provide us with a robust, high speed, low latency communications network," Warzecha added.
With this smart grid deployment, Victoria Electric would be able to improve operational efficiency and enhance outage detection.
Trilliant senior vice president Arnie Liepa highlighted Trilliant Platform to be a perfect fit for this deployment as it was a tailor-made solution for Victoria Electric’s energy needs.
