Titan Energy Worldwide has announced that its subsidiary Stellar Energy Services has been awarded a contract to supply a 200kW clean burning natural gas emergency engine generator system to Malt-O-Meal, a privately owned corporation that produces breakfast cereals.
The engine generator will provide emergency power to Malt-O-Meal’s corporate data center at their Minnesota facility. The 200kW engine generator will be installed outdoors in a level II ultra quiet enclosure to reduce the noise of the system while in operation.
Steve Hoyt, sales engineer for Stellar Energy, said: The unit for the Malt-O-Meal facility is designed to run on natural gas, and will back up a critical data center. With 10 technicians on staff, we are able to respond to any maintenance issues that may arise during an emergency.
