Prague is a city proud of its historical and cultural heritage, and will offer a wealth of experiences for accompanying persons or those wishing to extend their conference visit.

With numerous theatres, museums, galleries and exhibition halls, Prague is also home to more than 2000 monuments. Well known for its Czech beer, traditional cut glass crystal and craftwork, the city has a growing reputation for shopping and is said to rival Milan and Paris for its inexpensive international brands.

Music will never be far from your ears in Prague. The city has a tradition of concert life and Mozart even premiered the Don Giovanni opera here in 1787.

The river Vltava flows 31km through Prague and electricity generating company, CEZ’s, cascade of hydroelectric plants can be found here.

Ruzyne airport is 20km from the city centre.
