AP reported the poll results showed that 48% of the respondents were in favor of building new nuclear power stations while 39% were against it and 13% of the voters were undecided.
AP noted that approximately 50% of Sweden’s electricity needs are met by 10 nuclear reactors. The facilities are expected to be phased out over the coming decades.
