The Rogers Machinery installation includes 1,074 solar panels covering 14,499sqft of preexisting roof space. The system will supply approximately 52.5% of the electrical energy required for the 96,000sqft, 104-employee facility.

It is estimated that over its 25-year warranted life, the Rogers Machinery’s solar-energy system will keep 298,283 tons of CO2 from entering the atmosphere, Solar Nation said.
