Siemens has extended its service and maintenance contract for a further 15 years for the 350MW Clyde wind farm in South Lanarkshire, Scotland.
The wind farm, which is owned by SSE, Greencoat UK Wind and GLIL, features 152 Siemens SWT-2.3-93 turbines.
Siemens serviced and maintained the project since commercial operations beganin 2011.
The SWPS-300W maintenance deal includes a guarantee of availability and extended warranty on major components over the entire term of the contract.
Siemens said it will use its remote diagnostics services to offer predictive maintenance planning by finding possibleissues before they affect operations.
Siemens Power Generation Services, Wind Power and Renewables business unit CEO Mark Albenze said: "This extension underscores our commitment to providing customers with value-driven service plans targeted to their specific operational needs and complemented with our advanced digital services.

Last year, Siemens received an order to supply, install, commission and service 54 direct drive wind turbines at Clyde Extension project.
Siemens said the SWT-3.2-101 turbines will add another 172.8 MW to the Clyde wind farm.
Apart from this service agreement, Siemens has received service agreements from four other wind farms including Galway Phases 1 and 2, Toddleburn and Tievenameenta, owned by SSE.
