According to the Wall Street Journal, Shell is planning to outsource certain information technology jobs, eliminate certain finance positions, and restructure its Nigeria operations.
Shell is reportedly under pressure from the Nigerian government to renegotiate the terms of its contracts while it faces increasing insurgent violence. Wall Street Journal reported that Shell would unveil the revamped Nigeria organization in April 2008.
