This represents over 40% of the planned holes for the initial drilling programme at the project, and the company has reported excellent drilling results from the project.

The company said its exploration and drilling contractor, Tenure Mineral Consultants (TMC), has also completed three diamond drill holes, however logging of these holes is not yet complete.

A total of ten diamond drill holes are planned to be completed as part of the initial drilling programme.

Geological modelling of the manganese mineralisation is expected to begin in late November, following receipt of the final assay results.

Segue managing director Steven Michael said the initial exploration results from the Emang Manganese Project exceed the company’s expectations at this early stage of exploration.

"To encounter manganese mineralisation in over 85% of holes drilled is remarkable," Michael said.
