RWE npower has awarded a contract to Trilliant to supply its pre-DCC Foundation smart meter services, including the Trilliant Communications Hubs and UnitySuite Head-End Software (HES) for smart meter deployment in UK.
Trilliant has already started working on delivering its smart meter solutions to RWE for a smart meter rollout programme beginning this year.
The UnitySuite HES is able to manage all of the demands of a compliant smart meter system by managing the devices and communications throughout the whole smart meter fleet.
UnitySuite tool’s architecture is based on open standards, and supports the UK smart metering technical specifications, which can adapt to market demands.
In addition, Trilliant is supplying its Communications Hub, which has already been proven to operate in the field in volume, to RWE npower.
