Russell Industries has renewed 63 of its unpatented uranium mining claims with the Utah Bureau of Land Management and San Juan County, Utah.

The claims are located in two mine ranges known as Payday and Rage-Toni, in the Elk Ridge and Manti-La Sal National Forest areas of San Juan County, Utah.

These claim areas encompass 1,255 acres and are all strategically located within 30 miles of White Mesa Mill.

Earlier this year, Russell Industries increased its ownership interest in the claims to 93.32% and the company elected to not renew the remaining 192 UMC’s it acquired in 2007.

Russell Industries is a developing alternative and renewable energy company.

The company is the majority owner of 63 unpatented uranium mining claims in San Juan County, Utah.

The company is also pursuing development of a commercial scale algae production facility through its wholly owned subsidiary, Algae Farm.
